The Adobe Ranch Acres Homeowners Association announces two (2) vacancies for the Board of Directors.

 

HOA board members are elected volunteers responsible for managing the community's finances, maintaining common areas, enforcing governing documents, and ensuring legal compliance to protect property values. Key duties include setting annual budgets, collecting dues, hiring vendors, resolving disputes, and holding regular, transparent meetings with homeowners.

The Board of Directors is required to meet once a year but typically meets quarterly. The time commitment varies depending on the role held on the Board. For non-officers the yearly time commitment is less than 12 hours. For officers, the time commitment is less than 8 hours per month.

Eligible Candidates shall be:

(a) A Member who is not a Director and who desires to run for election to that position, shall be deemed an Eligible Candidate who has been nominated for election upon his filing with the Board of Directors a written petition (to include via email) of nomination; or

(b) A Director who is eligible to be re- elected shall be deemed to be an Eligible Candidate nominated for re-election to the Board by signifying his intention to seek reelection in a writing (to include via email) addressed to the Board of Directors.
