Melissa Gentry

Owner and Chief Operating Officer


Melissa has over 20 years of property management experience with condominiums and single family residences. She began her management experience as President of a condominium board in Florida. Since then, she has been involved with the creation of new homeowners associations and handled everything from sinkholes to legal disputes. No property is too big or too small.  Her properties ranges from annual budgets of $30,000 to over $1,000,000.
Melissa holds a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Saint Leo University, a Bachelors of Business Administration from Saint Leo University, and the Associate in Management designation. She is also a member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), where she continues to study and grow her property management knowledge.

Michael Gentry

Owner and Chief Financial Officer


Michael brings over 20 years of business, leadership and process improvement experience to Hill Country Homeowners.  He is dedicated to ensuring that all homeowners and board members in the Hill Country family receive the high level of customer service that they expect and deserve.  Michael earned his Bachelors Degree in Finance from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and is currently working toward his MBA.

Tessa Stevens

Community Operations Manager


Tessa Stevens is the Community Operations Manager for Hill Country Homeowners.  Tessa handles most of the direct homeowner contacts, and coordinates work done for the Associations including, procurement of bids, coordination of vendors as well as serving as the liaison for most of the Associations legal needs. 

Tessa has worked with multiple corporations in a Management or Client Services capacity and offers many years of experience in both operations, administration and procurement.  Tessa is here to help homeowners navigate the world of living in neighborhood with an HOA and acts as support to the Associations Board of Directors. You can expect honest and direct answers and a sincere desire to help when working with Tessa.

Tessa was born outside of Chicago, Illinois and studied Fine Art at the University of Wisconsin.  She spends her time away from the office creating art, hunting for vintage treasures and most importantly spends cherished time with her partner, two bonus daughters and pets on random adventures. 

Jennifer Valdez

Community Portfolio Manager


Jennifer Valdez is the Community Portfolio Manager for Hill Country Homeowner where Jennifer works closely with the Board of Directors and Developers to manage and operate the community. Jennifer assists in financial management, hosts and attends annual and board of directors meetings coordinates Architectural Control requests, and acts a Liaison to homeowners, committee members and staff. Jennifer has over 20 years experience in Management and Customer Service, specializing in employee relations and customer satisfaction. 

Jennifer was born and raised in San Antonio and studied Business Management at the University of the Incarnate Word. She currently lives in Helotes with her husband of 18 years, Andre and their two beautiful daughters Sierra and Lexi. In her free time she loves to shop, listen to music and spend time with her family, including her fur babies Ashton and Khaleesi. 

Sierra Valdez

Community Concierge Coordinator


Sierra Valdez is the Community Concierge Coordinator at Hill Country Homeowners where she performs tasks directly related to the general business operations of the Association, while providing administrative support to the Managers. She is responsible for providing a wide variety of administrative services as well as assisting with the management of properties in accordance with company policies, procedures, and standards. Sierra is a high school graduate from O’Connor High School and plans on starting college soon. She is a lover of makeup and music. Her ultimate goal is to conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.

Clint Kastner

Community Compliance Coordinator


Clint Kastner is the Community Compliance Coordinator for Hill Country Homeowners and handles the HOA inspections for the communities we serve.

His goal, is to make sure that each community remains a beautiful neighborhood, and everyone’s property values are protected. He shares Hill Country’s belief that this can only be achieved in part by equitably enforcing all the Covenants, Conditions and Restrictions for each neighborhood.  His eye for detail and desire to hold everyone to the same standard is a key to his success in his role of Compliance Coordinator.  (Having a background as a professional photographer doesn’t hurt either).

Clint is originally from Oklahoma and now lives in San Antonio and relocated from Austin 4 years ago.  He has spent most of his career as a professional photographer and later as a Compliance Officer in the medical community.  He is a dual major graduate of Texas A&M at Commerce with a degree in Photography.


When not working in the communities as a Compliance officer Clint creates and sells art with his partner Tessa, their Great Dane Bella, their rescue pup Loki and two insatiable felines, Tuesday and Bleu.

Outside of school, Lexi enjoys helping out at Hill Country because work is fun and she loves going to meetings.  Besides being an excellent student, Lexi has a wide variety of interests including reading, cooking, coloring, playing video games, playing sports - especially soccer and basketball, and playing with her cousins and the dogs.


Her ultimate career goal is to help animals by being a veterinarian.  We love having Lexi as part of the team!


Chief Hair Distribution Officer and Yardscaping Supervisor


Minnie along with her fur siblings and cousins, Elvis, Macie, Murrary, Molly, Ashton, Kahleesi, Bella, Loki, Tuesday and Bleu spend most of their day keeping up employee morale and running security in between naps.  They love meeting residents whenever they get the chance and will work for treats and toys.  We love our pets!
